Nine days to spend in Istanbul? We would say, “Not enough time!” But, this book illustrates a small sample of what a pair of modestly intrepid visitors might be able to see in that time. Istanbul’s culture is deep and wide, so trying to convey that with our travel photography falls far short, of course - our cameras only skimming the surface of its rich culture. Nonetheless, we hope that by perusing this book you can begin to imagine some of the sounds and aromas and energy we experienced while exploring this dynamic, world-class city.
