A portrait of the consequences of one of the greatest geo-political-social experiments, >>Jugolaboratorija<< and its >>Strange Bedfellows<<, reflects as much my own story as the whole generation´s , mostly born in late 1970's, as the last generation that experienced both sides of the story, if not even the third , which would be the war itself.
This experiment ended up rather tragically, and yet this is not a tragedy, but a quite ordinary story about some ordinary people who adapted to those new conditions as good as they could.

The story is also about a generation who managed, if not always for the best, to catch up with the changes, as these became a sort of >>normality<< . They - or even better we - were still young enough, and had the ability to adopt those changes, compared to e.g. my parents generation, who never came to terms with them.

These conditions have since buried themselves deep into >>collective subconscious<< and this photo study attempts to give you a peek into this new-established >>locality<<.
