From an early age I was always painting and drawing peculiar shapes, lines and colours on to the page. My passion for art grew when I first held a camera in my hands, looking through the viewfinder and seeing the detail of the world and being able to capture it fascinated me. I have been in love with photography for longer then I can remember. I live in a rural Bedfordshire village close to the Cambridgeshire border, this gave me a beautiful landscape of fields and trees to grow up in. The rapeseed oil flowers that spread like blankets across my village offered me the perfect setting to practice my photography and painting skills. This added to my love of natural forms and nature when, unpredictably the heavens would open and rain would pour down onto my artwork.
