This book was made in honor of an amazing band director from Lebanon High School in Lebanon, MO, by the name of Keith Ruether. He believed in his students and saw their potential even when he was furious with their behavior. This Illustrated book is about the everyday struggles of a band director and his discipline that his students both loved and feared. Leading a band and turning kids into musicians is a talent that not many possess, but Mr. Ruether challenged and understood all of us as if we were his own kids.
