Above all, the hope is to instill in the reader that which the Maestro held most dear: curiosity, active seeking, and discipline - from which the freedom of all creative expression flows. All proceeds to benefit the Ravi Shankar Foundation's ACCESS RAGA initiative - a long term project to digitize and make publicly available via an online portal the historical recordings held in the Ravi Shankar Archive.
