The photos in this book are a selection of images taken by Stephen Powell on safari in Tanzania.
September 24th to October 29th. 2012. This trip consisted of two 14 day safaris with me as an
Artist / Photographer Guide.
Beginning at Lake Victoria we toured the Serengeti, Tarangire and Manyara National Parks and
the Ngorongoro crater all considered to be some of the world’s greatest wildlife destinations.
Mention African safaris and first timers thoughts are often dominated by visions of a
handful of well-known species. This book shows just some of the diversity of stunning bird and animals that Tanzania has to offer.
A visit to Tanzania is not complete without an opportunity to meet the Maasai people. I hope my images have done justice to these proud people.
