"David Runs Away" is a story about a 7 year old boy named David of mixed heritage who celebrates his birthday with his cousins and friends. He realizes that he is different from his cousins because he is Chinese and Irish. He decides to run away to the city to escape. After certain events that happen to David in the city of San Francisco, he comes to a realization about being different.
