Dawn Kish grew up in Arizona and received her first camera at 17. Kish's talent for recognizing moments comes from her love for world travel, growing up in the southwest, river running, climbing, mountain biking and snowboarding. Kish says, “I love being outside and usually my activities become my subject. Mother Nature is my main inspiration. My job as a photographer gives me opportunities to constantly embrace knowledge.
