Our Mission The mission of The YES Foundation® is to empower children to become self-sufficient adults and contributing members of society through the creation, incubation and dissemination of intervention models that provide resources, support and opportunities in the areas of Employment, Education and Enrichment. All programs supplement the traditional classroom experience. History The YES Foundation® was founded in 1992 to help high school youth identify their skills, prepare for job interviews and broaden their horizons by locating jobs throughout the metropolitan Detroit area. Since then, we have expanded to include literacy programs in grades K–3, and parental involvement activities. The YES Foundation's® programs have been made possible through the financial and in-kind support of individuals, corporations and foundations.
