Her eyes are naturally drawn to light and shade and she is continually fascinated by the way that changing light can transform a scene or an object. Over the past 6 years she has been exploring a more ethereal or poetic style of photography. Initially taking images intuitively, photographing whatever attracts her attention in her home or everyday environment. She then play with these images of random objects, peculiar scenes, and parts of the body, placing them alongside each other. There may be no immediate apparent logical link, but it is hoped that the ambiguity within both the images and their juxtapositioning engages the viewer, encouraging their mind to wander, view a situation anew, imagine, or cast their own daydream into a picture.
