One day I noticed this cool headlight on a parked car. As is often the case, things I had not been previously tuned into suddenly come to the forefront. Once aware, I checked out the numerous parked cars to discover an amazing variety of taillights and headlights.

Computer aided design has opened up a dazzling array of design innovation and creativity. Add to that the technological innovation in types of lights (zenon, super bright LEDS, etc) and you see all these wonderful emerging variations.

They became the subject of this series, where I use them as raw material for my own designs.
