Born in Laredo, Texas, Jose Leiva lives in Lewiston, Maine with his wife, Linda. He is a photojournalist for the Lewiston Sun Journal and does freelance work as a commercial photographer. His early years as a photographer were spent in Italy while serving in the United States Air Force during the late sixties. He has traveled throughout the United States and Europe. Jose and his wife share a love for art, travel, and family. Together they have four grandchildren who inspire them and are often the subjects of Jose's photography.
