Our interest in putting together a book of plants arose from two series of photographs we were working on at the time -- one dealing with the experience of encountering plants as a pedestrian, and the other dealing with floral textiles as a backdrop for household items. Here, we explore this thread of plant-based work in our peers’ practices as well as our own.



Plant Book investigates the (mani)curation of flora in the works of Chloé Hamilton, Christine Haroutounian, Iris Hu, Brittany Ko, Leah Rom, and Samantha Vaughan.
