Taken from the blog he maintained during his travels in 2007, World on a String, is a collection of Jesse's highlights. Leaving home on New Year's Eve for New York City, Jesse only stayed long enough to watch the ball drop before catching a flight the next day for Amsterdam. From there, he went on to New Delhi, India for a month staying with his brother and taking an independent study in Travel Writing. By the time February had arrived, Jesse was on his way to Xiamen, China for a semester of study at their prestigious university.
