Nicholas Costopoulos is a self taught fine art photographer based in East Boston Massachusetts. Born and raised in Boston, he has spent the better part of 15 years living in and photographing the outer Cape Cod towns of Truro and Provincetown. While on Cape, he attended workshops and honed his photographic skills documenting the ever-changing landscape of the Cape Cod seashore.
Currently in Boston, he continues to learn more about photography such as alternative process printing, portrait and figure studies in his East Boston studio. He is now embarking on a new long term project, Coming Home Again and Again, examining his identity as a first generation Greek American gay man coming to terms with his culture, religious, and spiritual life. He is currently pursuing an MFA in Visual Arts at Lesley College of Art and Design.
