Photobook chronicling a Christmas 2012 family trip to South Africa. We visited the Drakensberg Mountains, Dolphin Coast and Kruger National Park. The book is a personal memento but we are happy to share our adventure with others who may be thinking of a similar trip.

Strictly an amateur photographer, I purchased my first DSLR, a Canon AT-1, in 1978 at the age of 15. Late to the world of digital, I purchased a Canon EOS 20D in 2005, upgrading to a 7D in 2012. My main interest is travel photography, primarily nature and landscapes. I am fortunate that my family has embraced my hobby; some of the photos in my Blurb photo books were taken by them. I absolutely love the creative process required to make a photo book. From the theme, the photo editing, layout and composing text, I find it a wonderful way to create family keepsakes and to showcase the places we have been fortunate to see along this great journey we call life.
