This is volume one of my photographic interpretation of the US via road trips undertaken in 2008 and last year. Through a series of photo essays I've tried to take an Australian's eye view of the States and to show the things that struck me as quirky and offbeat or that we just don't get to see back home.

Things that a person living in America might not notice as they are surrounded by them on a daily basis. I think it takes someone from outside a country to see it with fresh eyes.
