I am an artist, aspiring writer, mother, wife and non-traditional college student and Believer. It took me 32 years to overcome the crippling pain of depression and addiction. I still battle, I still conquer. At fourteen, writing and creating art took hold of me fiercely. It was and still is my therapy. I have been heavily influenced by the south as I was born and raised in Georgia. I lived most of my young adulthood in Atlanta but longed for environmental tranquility. That longing led me to the mountains of Idaho where I currently reside. I am a folk painter venturing out into sculpture and installation works. I am a writer coming out of hiding.
