I am a lover of many things including, but not limited to: photography, camping, hiking, travel, poetry, pop culture, literature, and just having fun with the people I care about. I grew up in Coleman, MI, and got a teaching degree in English from Central Michigan University. My love of literature and poetry came from my 10th Grade English teacher, and my love of photography came from dumb luck and working in a one-hour photo lab through college. My teaching career has led me to Battle Creek, MI and now Monroe, NC. I currently live in Charlotte with my precocious cat, Ike Turner.
