À propos du livre
All photos in this book were taken on my ‘Diana +’ Lomo 120 film camera that was bought for about £50 in 2007-ish.
The process was always laborious, the film costly, the developing long-winded and the results erratic, but this was all part of the fun.
At this point (mid 2012) the plastic camera has pretty much given up on me having travelled to New York, Italy, Poland, South America and India without a case, which is no surprise having been stuffed into various bags along the way.
Now feels like a good time to gather the best shots together. There are large volumes of obscure, unusable, blank or just plain rubbish ‘photos’ that didn’t make the cut.
There has also recently been a major surge in popularity of the digital re-creation of this knackered old treatment which is decidedly quicker and cheaper, however less random, and the random is where the magic is, so this is my random collection.
