I was born and raised in the Midwest but fell in love with New Mexico when I was 19. I married at age 20 and soon moved to the Albuquerque area. I have a BA in Archeology from UNM but decided living in the country and building 2 houses with my husband and daughters was a lot more profitable. In my 40's, I went to the NM School of Natural Therapeutics to learn massage and I am still massaging. I have always written poetry, since I could hold a writing stick. My mind likes to condense experience; it makes for room in the brain to fit in more lifetimes.
