I am originally from a small town named Zwolle, Louisiaina. I am the third child of four and an only girl. I was born on August 7, 1987. I have had only a couple of so-called "real jobs" in my life and have attended two different universities. Poetry is and always has been a passion for me. Being able to put my emotions into words and put those words onto paper has always been a great experience for me. I can honestly say that all of the things I have gone through in life have made my poetry just that much more captivating. Since this is my first book, I was a little nervous and decided not to overdo it. I wanted to keep it simple, yet come right out and show readers who I am. I also want them to know that poetry doesn't have to always be dark, it can also have a wild side. I appreciate you taking the time to read a little bit into my world.
