I've always enjoyed science fiction and fantasy stories in all their forms: books, movies, TV shows, even toys. Only recently, at an age when I'd have thought myself past it, I have become a "fan". Somehow, being a "fan" brought out the latent writer in me; somehow, these characters and their world inspire me like nothing else. It's been a treat to write for them. I've also been known to write about the weather. I live in the Pacific Northwest, where our glorious seasons and stunning landscape have inspired a year's worth of poetry from me. Now there's a book of that as well. :-)
