Expressions of nature...

The following pages are not a collection of still lifes or snapshots of pretty flowers. What follows is a series of portraits. Flowers, I think, are Mother Nature's subtle, quiet way of showing off, of "dressing up."

I treat my floral images as portraits and try to look for the personality in each one, the expression in every flower. Happy, shy, whimsical, content, pensive and enlightened are all expressions I see through the lens when shooting floral portraits. I hope that in the following images, you also see these expressions...
