In January 2008, Sharon and Byron took a tour with Lindblad tours through the Panama Canal and on to the natural world of Panama and Costa Rica. While this was primarily an Ecotour, we also had an opportunity to see and enjoy the process of going through the Panama Canal both at night and during the day.



The Naturalists were amazing in their ability to show us wildlife including Birds, Iguanas, Monkeys (Capuchins, Howlers, and Squirrel Monkeys), Bats, and others. The opportunites for photography were endless! This book includes over 400 of our favorite photos selected from our original 6000+ photos taken over a 2 week period.



Included in the book are photos of Panama City, Colon Panama, wildlife and scenic photos from Barro Colorado, the bird islands - Otoque and Bona, Isla Coiba, Casa Orquideas Jardin Botanico, Rio Rincon, Playa Caletas, Corcovado NP, Manuel Antonio NP, Monteverde, Mt Arenal, Sarapiqui River, and of course, the Panama Canal.
