Photography has a long history of exploring perceptions and out of a series of images elements can be taken and altered to create another series of perceptions. We all place our own perceptions upon images/photographs we view even if we don't realise it. A change of colour, an upside down version or straight out is this a real photograph? can make you respond to an image in a different train of thought. A place or person you know may appear complete;y different in an image - changing the perception of this place or person and placing it within another/new perception.
