In October 2009, Peter Mead along with 6 other climbers embarked upon a month long expedition deep into the Everest region of Nepal for a classic Himalayan adventure.

Climbing in the shadow of the world's highest mountains, the teams primary climbing objectives included Pokalde (5,806m), Island Peak (6,189m) and Lobuje East (6,119m).
