I wanted to share some of my fine art work. I am known for my technical expertise, but I feel that technique with out feeling is usually meaningless. Technique ought to be in the service of visual communication, whether commercial or beautiful or both.



The images in this book are from the beach, buildings, beings and beauty: four Bs. I hope that they will invite you to make your own images.



The images in this book were done over many years and evoke deep feelings for me. There has been a lot of involuntary time travel as I assembled these images. I hope that they will be meaningful for you. I hope this book will help to open your own vision.

John Siskin

John Siskin is a fine art and commercial photographer who often works with landscape and architectural images. He has taught photography for more than twenty years. His first book, Understanding and Controlling Strobe Lighting: A Guide for Digital Photographers, is published by Amherst Media. It was first available in the fall of 2010.
