À propos du livre
Peter Searight is a Sussex based professional photographer who has lived in the village of Lynchmere for many years and this book is not about ordinary people, it's about ordinary trees and their beauty in an ever changing landscape.
Most of Peter's work behind the camera now involves people - portraits are his most important activity - but he has always loved trees. Two of the seven awards he has won to date have been from The Royal Horticultural Society, and one of these (Highfield Dawn) is in this book.
The trees that feature in this book are not heroic oaks and yews from the middle ages, but humble birches, Scots pines young oaks. The book sets out to show the magic that they bring to the local landscape.
