At a time when retirement for many is disappearing into a distant future in favour of working on into old age, some of us baby-boomers have grasped the opportunity to retire with both hands. Telling our friends that we were going on an eight month overland trip in a truck from London to Sydney, camping much of the way, split them into two groups.
