À propos du livre
This book is a smaller version of the large landscape book, "Real Deal" and is therefore priced at a lower level than the larger one. It is a collection of 80 portraits in sepia tones of faces - or personalities - of people who live in and around the East Kent coastal town of Deal.
A snapshot in time or archive of the wonderful people who make up this vibrant town. Real faces: Real Deal. It is an ancient and modern community and the portraits include old and young, relative new-comers and old "Dealites". Some are world-renowned and include artists, writers, actors, artists, painters, craftspeople, ex-miners, tradespeople, photographers, singers, musicians, community workers, clergy as well as the not so ordinary man in the street and a few locally well-recognised pets!
The archive is still being added to so there will be a follow up to this book in due course. Enjoy!
