À propos du livre
About the Book
As an artist, I am constantly trying to convey how I view the world in which I live to others.
The world in which we all live is made up of four essential elements: fire, water, earth, air.
Using the medium of photography to explore them, I wanted to show the beauty of these “common” elements while conveying the resulting images in ways that could be read as if they were created in a different medium—for instance, an abstract painting.
By purposely “un-defining” the medium, I’m able to present them in ways we aren’t yet desensitized to, offering the reader an opportunity to re-experience them, while sharing how my eye is drawn to the simplistic beauty that is in front of us everyday in the elements that create and sustain life.
