The varied arcs of married life created difficult scenarios for my wife and I. Love was never an issue, but we grew apart in intention and process. This collection of poems reflects the incredulity of a dissolving romance as two parents grow apart while raising a son. Writing these words was therapeutic for me as I tried to make sense of newly realized situations. I figured a male perspective is rare on matters this personal and heart-wrenching. I hope this collection offers a reflective path for anyone trying to cope with their own private loss, and provides a light out of the dark.
