À propos du livre
DIVINE EDGE
Magic can make a man powerful. It doesn't necessarily make him harder to fool.
Casa is a wandering gambler with fire in his hands, expensive tastes, and an eye for opportunities other people miss. He appreciates a good meal, beautiful company, and a wager worth staying up for. He'll buy a stranger dinner, charm his way into a better room, and occasionally leave with a watch that isn't his.
Since the Day, the world has been full of wonders—and people making a fine living selling them. From dusty horse tracks to lavish cardrooms, Casa follows the promise of a good time and a little more coin.
But spotting an advantage and knowing when to walk away are two different talents. And some men would rather change the rules than lose.
Divine Edge is a roguish fantasy of crooked games, unexpected friendships, and fortunes that rarely stay where they belong. There's warmth at the dinner table, danger across the card table, and usually something happening beneath both.
Everyone has an edge. The trick is knowing whose game you're playing.
Sit down and play.
