À propos du livre
Fragments is a collection of quiet observations.
Drawn from everyday encounters with architecture, landscape, light and colour, these photographs explore the visual language of simplicity. Moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed are isolated from their surroundings, allowing shape, form and balance to emerge.
Throughout these pages, familiar subjects are reduced to their most essential elements: a line against a wall, a geometric shadow, a field of colour, a solitary curve. Stripped of context, these ordinary details become something else entirely. They invite a slower way of seeing, where attention shifts from what an object is to how it occupies space.
The images are united by an interest in minimalism and abstraction, revealing unexpected relationships between colour, texture and geometry. Some compositions appear carefully arranged, others discovered by chance, yet each represents a fleeting moment of visual harmony.
There is no fixed narrative within this work. Instead, Fragments offers a sequence of pauses: small studies in form, light and perception. Each photograph stands alone as a fragment, incomplete in itself, yet connected to those around it through a shared sense of restraint and quiet curiosity.
Together, they form a meditation on the beauty of simplicity and the extraordinary qualities hidden within the ordinary. Inspired by minimalist architectural and colour studies throughout the collection.
