Mimi arrives at a new ballet school, and after the first class, her teacher asks her if she wants to go to New York to be a part of American Ballet Theater’s Nutcracker. She thinks her teacher is crazy, because Mimi is only 13, and her teacher can’t know her well enough to move her up to such a high level yet! Her teacher is confident that Mimi can break glass ceilings, but Mimi doesn’t know what to do with the spotlight. Will she crumble? Or will she rise to the top against all odds?
