This shoot wasn’t supposed to be a solo.

The original plan was built around two models — a contrast between soft and edgy — but when one of them canceled the day of the shoot, Liz Ashley simply said, “We’ll make it work.” And that was that.

Shot inside a working motorcycle shop, the environment dictated everything. Grease, metal, tools, tight spaces — nothing staged, nothing cleaned up. The light came and went, the space was what it was, and Liz adapted to all of it without hesitation.

What started as a backup plan quickly became something more focused and more honest. The images move between strength and vulnerability, toughness and play, without ever trying to force either one.

This series is less about a concept and more about what happens when you trust the moment — and the person in front of the camera — to carry the shoot.
