This is one in a series of books from the authors on the wonderful world of color photography. The “Colour My World” series focuses on demonstrating the methods, approaches, and techniques that can be used by photographers to creatively use color in an artistic way to tell stories about life and the world around us. Each book in the series focuses on color image-making applied to a particular genre/style of photography or a specific subject.

Within the "Colour My World" theme, we are developing a series of photography books on the use of color in architecture from around the world.The series focuses on the capture of architectural images that showcase the creative and innovative use of color in their designs. Architectural photographs can range in color from black and white to monochromatic to subtle color palettes to bright and bold colors with plenty of contrast. This book showcases architectural compositions that emphasize color, along with amazing shapes, patterns, and lines that collectively have a very impactful role in each of the images.
This volume features architecture from the Caribbean. It is the first in a series of books covering the Caribbean region. Caribbean architecture is a vibrant mix of Indigenous, African, and European (Spanish, French, British, Dutch) influences. The initial chapters discuss the use of color in architecture design, the application of color theory to creat, display, and printi architectural images, the art and techniques for photographing architecture, and recommended photographic equipment/camera settings.
This volume features architecture from the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao), Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, and Grenada.
