A new collection of more than fifty poems inspired by the earliest Myrddin (Merlin) poems found in ‘The Black Book of Carmarthen’, a hand-written Welsh manuscript that collected together some ancient bardic poems. This new work combines a visionary language with very old Celtic art in an attempt to stimulate the modern mind to explore the timeless inspiration of the druidic and bardic traditions. Dream-like, contemplative landscapes and the presence of the mythical, wise and mad Myrddin peeking from between the words and images.
