“Entering Art” is an exhibition of work by thirteen young artists of East Boston High School at Atlantic Works Gallery in East Boston, MA, December, 2025. For most creatives, it is easy to remember the first body of work that propelled them to pursue a career in the arts. The work presented here may be exactly that for these students. The students use art to navigate complex times and emotions. They are beginning to form their own creative voices– the work tends to be raw, emotional, and vulnerable– themes often made accessible through a common language such as anime or through shared experiences such as sports.
