Born and raised in Switzerland. As a child, he traveled without moving—eyes fixed on Ushuaïa Nature or on magazines that spoke of distant worlds. Those images awakened in him a hunger for horizons, encounters, and the unknown. Before photography came watchmaking: a craft that taught him precision, patience, and discipline, shaping a gaze attentive to subtleties most would overlook. In 2003, a first backpacking trip changed everything. With a camera in hand, he began capturing not just places but the essence of being there. Five years later he met Taz, his life and travel partner. Together they dreamed of a life beyond routine, and in 2018 they set off, trading certainties for openness, with wonder as their compass and curiosity as their engine. For Stéphane, photography is not about freezing time but telling stories that raise awareness. Each image testifies to what he sees and feels, inviting reflection, empathy, and a deeper way of looking at the world.
