This was my first attempt at writing — a creative project that began as a collection of photographs, with a loose narrative added afterwards to link the images together. It marked the beginning of a journey in storytelling, one that evolved and strengthened with each new book. In the volumes that followed, the stories came first, and the pictures were created to bring them to life — each book building on the last as I learned and developed my craft. 1 in a series of 6.
