I am a proud Chamorro woman born on the island of Guam and raised between the islands of Guam and Tinian. Now living in Rhode Island with my wife, three cats, one bearded dragon, and my mom who I care for full-time, I am a storyteller, spiritual writer, and full-time grad student working toward my Master’s in Forensic Mental Health Counseling. For over seven years, I've worked with individuals with developmental disabilities, and my life’s work is rooted in healing, advocacy, and cultural pride. Island Souls is my love letter to the islands that raised me and the generations that came before, combining sacred recipes, affirmations, and prayers that nourish both body and spirit.
