À propos du créateur
I grew up in the rural foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, in Travelers Rest, SC, and shot my first roll of black and white film at age seven. I studied fine art at Furman University, in Greenville, SC, then moved to Georgia to study commercial photography at the Art Institute of Atlanta. I got my first taste of fine art photography at the Southeastern Center for the Arts in Atlanta, where I took courses while working as the Facilities Manager. Most notably, I learned the art of handtinting black and white photographs. While running the school’s darkroom there, I had the opportunity to work with some of today’s most incredible photographic talents who taught workshops at the school, such as Jerry Ulesmann. I have 28 years experience in the photo industry. I specialize in fine art black and white, and handtinting. I have shown my work throughout the Atlanta area since 1990, and currently have several pieces on display at The Great Frame Up in Canton, GA.
