Andrew Lagonick was posted to the Philippine Islands in the era now known as pre-war. Of no particular skill or accomplishment, he lived the life of an average member of the Coast Artillery, being posted to batteries at Fort Drum. He collected photos of his experiences, and compiled them in an album. I do not know what happened to Andrew, although the photo album contains images from a visit in China, indicating that he may have been returning to the USA prior to the outbreak of the war.

Through the Corregidor Historic Society and, more recently the 503d PRCT Heritage Regiment., Paul presents thirteen publications, all connected in some way with Corregidor and the US Armed Forces in the SWPA during WWII. He started developing the Corregidor.Org website about the 1941-42 siege and the 1945 retaking of Corregidor as, so he calls it, a 'penance' for his career as an insolvency lawyer. Now retired, he has produced ten websites, more than twenty Military History books, and has co-produced, with Peter Parsons, the documentary of the 1945 retaking of Corregidor - "CORREGIDOR - THE ROAD BACK. He married Rosie in 1980, has three adult children, and hates cats. Lately, he has indulged his muse as a photographer and design-layout creator, authoring several books he calls "frolics" - personal retrospectives. Though highly individual, he doesn't expect them to sell as do his military books, so he has set them on "full preview" so you can get to enjoy them free.
