Shane’s photography has been published and exhibited regionally and internationally. Through out the years, Shane’s photography has received many merit awards from various organizations and competitions. During 2007, Shane was specially commended in the BBC Wildlife photographer of the year competition, London England. In 2009, a single photograph taken of a Wisconsin badger was selected to be included in the new endangered resources license plate design for the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources; a portion of the revenue generated from this plate will go towards Wisconsin wildlife and habitat in peril. Shane’s dedication towards conservation photography as well as his efforts towards creating environmental awareness thru his photography is a major driving motivation. Shane resides on the northern shores of the extinct glacial lake Wisconsin of central Wisconsin.
