In October '23, I embarked on a memorable journey through Switzerland, beginning in the bustling city of Zurich with its captivating old-world architecture and pristine waters. The scenic train ride to Interlaken offered breathtaking countryside views, where I witnessed paragliders descending in Höhematte and savored stunning sunsets at Harder Kulm. Riding the advanced Eiger Express gondola to Jungfraujoch in Grindelwald provided awe-inspiring Alpine vistas, followed by a vertigo-inducing yet rewarding walk along the First Cliff Walk. Exploring the enchanting village of Lauterbrunnen and marveling at the majestic Matterhorn during sunset were unforgettable highlights. Lucerne, with its acclaimed Chapel Bridge adorned with geranium flowers, provided a romantic backdrop for indulging in fondue by the lake, making the trip truly magical with my beloved wife, Brigid.
