I was trained as a journalist at Iowa State University and spent two years as a professional journalist for a weekly newspaper in Iowa before moving to New Orleans to be a full-time missionary for an inner city organization. My love of photography and writing runs deep and I am blessed to work in a city where the photo opportunities are endless and the stories of God's faithfulness are plentiful.
