if you remember your childhood, you will definitely remember playing with soap bubbles. And how much fun it was with them. Many other types of games are a thing of the past – but soap bubbles are not. These photographs are proof of it.
It wants to show, and not least, the artistic inspiration soap bubbles evoke.
The fascination lies in the absolute ephemerality, in their incredibly subtle materiality, which moves close to nothingness. And, of course, the transformation of the bubbles’ colors as they are exposed to sunlight. All spectral colors let themselves be seen.
But it was not only the colorfullness of the soap bubbles that interested the photographer, but the absence of the colors, that is, their transformation into black and white. Their reduction to almost abstract formations of incredible delicacy.
The cities of Dresden and Munic in Germany provided the backdrop for the photographs.

Fangt mich, wenn ihr könnt.. Seifenblasen
Wenn du dich an deine Kindheit erinnerst, wirst du dich bestimmt daran erinnern, wie du mit Seifenblasen gespielt hast. Und wie viel Spaß es mit ihnen gemacht hat. Viele andere Spiele gehören der Vergangenheit an - aber Seifenblasen nicht. Diese Fotos sind der Beweis dafür. Aber es soll nicht zuletzt die künstlerische Inspiration gezeigt werden, die Seifenblasen hervorrufen. Die Faszination liegt in der absoluten Vergänglichkeit, in ihrer unglaublich subtilen Materialität, die sich nahe dem Nichts bewegt. Und natürlich in der Veränderung der Farben der Seifenblasen, wenn sie dem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt werden. Alle Spektralfarben lassen sich sehen.
Aber es war nicht nur die Buntheit der Seifenblasen, die den Photographen interessierte, sondern auch die Abwesenheit der Farben, ihre Verwandlung in Schwarz und Weiß. Die Reduktion auf fast abstrakte Gebilde von unglaublicher Zartheit.
Die Städte Dresden und München in Deutschland bildeten die Kulisse für die Fotografien.
