This book is an instruction/portfolio of my work as a painter and an instructor. I was an illustrator for over 17 years and now a painter for over 35 years and have taught for as many. I prepared and created sketchbooks which included painted examples of each lesson supported by worded explanations. I included the exploration of other art "isms." You'll see lists of other artists I admire. A few philosophical words are included. I've included a portfolio of some of my finished works that employ many of these lessons. I hope you find this book of ideas useful for your artistic endeavors.
